New York sees a massive number of court filings every year. The three-year average for private eviction filings over six months is 28,490. In 2020, 13,742 lawsuits and insurance claims were filed against the NYC government itself. That same year, 611 claims of medical malpractice were also filed in court.
If you count the cases filed in family court, the court of appeals, and all other types of civil cases in the city, the number undoubtedly is in the hundreds of thousands.
Every one of these cases needed the services of process servers. Claims and lawsuits can only move forward after the process of service is performed, and it must be done correctly in order to be recognized by the law. This is what our Rockland process servers are here for.
